Somers Engineering Ltd. provided experienced supervision for 14 months on-site to oversee the post-tensioning installation. The scope included supplying all necessary high-tensile low-relaxation strands and PT anchorages, as specified. On-site, we manufactured and assembled post-tensioning tendons, installed them, and fixed anchorages, including drilling edge forms as needed. We ensured proper sealing of anchorage recesses before grouting, and monitored concrete pours to maintain the integrity of the pre-stressing system. After stressing the tendons and cutting off excess strands, the recesses were dry-packed flush with the concrete surface and finished with a wood float. As Somers we also provided detailed Method Statements and Inspection and Test Plans to ensure quality and compliance throughout the project.
